Marine Notices

Waterways Ireland have introduced a series of Marine Notices issued by the Inspector of Navigation. These contain warnings applicable to all the Inland Waterways of Ireland. Some warnings are transient (rescue, searches,local events, completion of works etc) and are removed asap. This page only contains Notices for the Shannon/Erne Waterway and Lough Erne. See Waterways Ireland site for Marine Notices for all the other Inland Waterways. Please advise the Erne Wardens (028 66 322836), if you come across unreported hazards.
